Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026 · Last updated October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Atlas Asset Solutions LLC ("Atlas," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information. It applies to our website at atlasassetsolutions.com, our client portal, and the software applications Atlas operates for its appraisal practice (together, the "Services"), including applications that connect to a Google account with your permission.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form and messages. When you use the contact form on our website, email us or call us, we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to provide, such as your phone number, the city where the property is located, and a description of your situation.
- Client engagements. If you hire us, we collect information needed to perform the appraisal, such as your contact details, the property address, your insurance company and claim information, your policy, photos, estimates, invoices, correspondence and other documents you upload through our client portal or send to us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- We do not use advertising trackers and we do not currently use website analytics.
Information from Google, with your permission
If you sign in with Google or connect a Google account to an Atlas application, we receive the Google information you authorize. This is described in detail in Section 3.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and talk with you about your claim.
- To provide our appraisal services, including inspecting property, preparing and supporting an amount of loss, and communicating with your insurer, the other appraiser and the umpire as part of the appraisal you have engaged us for.
- To manage cases, deadlines, documents, scheduling, billing and records.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Services, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
3. Google user data
Some Atlas applications let you sign in with Google or connect a Google account so the application can work with your email, files and calendar. We only access Google data after you grant permission on Google's consent screen, and only for the features described here.
What we access
- Basic profile (Google Sign-In): your name, email address and profile picture, used to identify you and sign you in.
- Gmail: email messages, attachments and labels in the connected mailbox, and the ability to send and organize email, if you grant these permissions.
- Google Drive and Docs: files and folders in the connected account, and the ability to create and save files, if you grant these permissions.
- Google Calendar: calendar events, and the ability to create and update events, if you grant these permissions.
How we use it
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Atlas application you are using, for example:
- finding claim-related email and filing messages and attachments to the correct case;
- sending email that you write or approve from within the application;
- saving case documents, estimates and reports to Google Drive, or retrieving them;
- scheduling inspections, meetings and case deadlines on Google Calendar.
How we share it
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it, or transfer it, for advertising, retargeting or interest-based advertising, or to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. We do not transfer Google user data to others except:
- as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features you use, for example to service providers that host or process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and who may not use it for their own purposes;
- when you direct us to, for example by sending an email or sharing a document with your insurer, appraiser or umpire;
- for security purposes, such as investigating abuse;
- to comply with applicable law; or
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
Human access
People do not read your Google user data unless you give us permission for specific messages or files, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
AI and machine learning
Atlas applications may use automated tools, including AI models, to perform features you request, such as summarizing a message or sorting documents into a case. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, and we do not allow our service providers to do so.
Storage, retention and deletion
Google access tokens are stored encrypted on systems Atlas controls, and Google data we keep is protected as described in Section 7. We keep Google data only as long as needed for the feature you use or the case it belongs to. You can disconnect an Atlas application at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops all further access. To ask us to delete Google data we have stored, email frankie@atlasassetsolutions.com; we will delete it within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below:
- In the appraisal you hire us for. With your authorization, we share information with your insurance company and its representatives, the other appraiser, the umpire, and others involved in your claim, such as your contractor or attorney.
- Service providers. Companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting (Cloudflare), contact-form delivery (Web3Forms, which forwards website form submissions to our inbox), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace), and e-signature, accounting and payment providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Atlas, our clients or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. Our client portal and applications use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in features may not work without them.
6. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than two years if we do not end up working together. We keep client case files for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, insurance and record-keeping requirements, after which we delete or anonymize them.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, multi-factor authentication for staff access, access limited to people who need it, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or to complete an engagement.
9. Children
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes to how we use Google user data, we will ask for your consent where required.
